Entrance
Scholarship for honor graduates from FEU and FEU-NRMF:
- Summa Cum Laude graduates will
get 100% scholarship (Tuition fee and Laboratory
fees) and will pay only the miscellaneous fees and
Special Development Fund.
- Magna Cum Laude graduates will
get 75% Scholarship (Tuition fee and Laboratory
fee) and will pay the miscellaneous fee and Special
Development Fund.
- Cum Laude graduates
- With NMAT score of 70% or higher
will get 50% scholarship (Tuition and laboratory
fee) and will pay the miscellaneous fee and Special
Development Fund.
- With NMAT score of 69% or lower
will get 25% scholarship (Tuition and Laboratory
fee) and will pay the miscellaneous fee and Special
Development Fund.
Honor graduates from recognized
colleges or universities admitted to Far Eastern University
- Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, shall be granted
scholarship in the fomi of exemption from tuition fees
for one semester, as follows: summa cum laude, 100%; magna
cum laude, 75%; and cum laude, 50%, provided that the
scholarship privilege has not been enjoved else where,
unless warranted by the academic performance or status
of the applicant for scholarship, at the discretion of
the Dean.
These entrance scholarship
will be maintained for the second if the scholars obtain
a weighted average of 2.0 or better.
- Academic Scholarship
- Students with full load in the
evaluated semester with a General Weighted Average
of 1.5 or better will get 100% scholarship (Tuition
and laboratory fee) and will pay only the miscellaneous
fee and Special Development Fund.
- Students with full load in the
evaluated semester with a General Weighted Average
of 1.51-1,75 will get a 50% scholarship (Tuition
and laboratory fee) and will pay the miscellaneous
fee and Special Development Fund.
All the above scholarship
will be on a semestral basis.
Special
Scholarship and Awards
Special scholarship and
awards are also made available by the Foundation as follows:
Winthrop-Stearns Scholarship
available to any junior intern in the Institute of Medicine
on the basis of his scholastic ratings in the first three
years of the medical course and his financial status.
This grant consists of a one-year scholarship covering
the entire fee. The awardee must not be a recipient of
any other scholarship.
Lauro H. Panganiban Scholarship
granted upon application to any medical student on the
basis of his scholastic and financial status.
Medicare Scholarship is
awarded to poor but deserving for every five hundred (500)
medical students.
Ricardo L. Alfonso Award
given during the graduation ceremonies to the most outstanding
junior intem of the FEU-NRMF Hospital.
Rolando Solis Award granted
to the member of the graduating class who excels in Cardiology.
Faculty Awards for academic
excellence granted by the Institute of Medicine faculty
to any student who obtained a grade of 1.25 or better
in any major subject. This is in the form of a pin bearing
the insignia of the Foundation, the symbol of medicine
and the subject in which the student excels.
Alumni Awards donated
by FEU-NRMF alumni granted to medical students for academic
excellence in major subjects in the first year to the
third year. Each award consists of a plaque of recognition
and cash. They are distributed during the annual alumni
homecoming in December.
Filipino citizenship is
a prerequisite to all grants, awards, scholarships and
fellowships, except the Faculty Awards for Academic Excellence.
